The National Women’s Business Council (NWBC), sponsor of, is a bi-partisan federal advisory council created to serve as an independent source of advice and policy recommendations to the President, Congress, and the U.S. Small Business Administration on economic issues of importance to women business owners. Members of NWBC are prominent women business owners and leaders of women’s business organizations.

Center for Woemen’s Business Research

Today, women business owners are a key market for leading national, regional and community banks because the Center is relentless in providing and promoting the most up-to-date knowledge the banks and other industries use to drive their strategies in the women’s entrepreneurship market.

WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise National Council)

The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), founded in 1997, is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned controlled, and operated by women in the United States. WBENC, a national 501(c)(3) non-profit, partners with 14 Regional Partner Organizations to provide its national standard of certification to women-owned businesses throughout the country. WBENC  is also the nation’s leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America’s corporations.

NWBOC (National Women Business Owners Corporation)

NWBOC was created in response to needs identified by the Procurement Special Interest Group of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO.) Research has shown that after developing supplier partnerships with women-owned firms, many companies and government agencies have enhanced their bottom line for their shareholders, and taxpayers, respectively.

ORCA (Online Representations and Certifications Application)

ORCA is an e-Government initiative that was designed by the Integrated Acquisition Environment (IAE) to replace the paper based Representations and Certifications (Reps and Certs) process.
